Now that Alfred was fifteen, he'd been given his own study. For some reason Arthur thought this was a big step in the boy's progress, but Alfred was noticeably nonplussed about this. For one it was a relatively small room, about ten by ten. There was enough room for a desk in front of the window, a bookshelf to the left, and a table to the right. Above that table many diagrams had been drawn with ink on paper, detailing everything from runes to the very creation of arcane circlesthough Alfred couldn't do it yet, it was essential to know how in order to use them properly. That was the hope, anyway. 'A master of magic can one day create his own circles, pull his spells straight from the other side and shape them to do just as he likes.' Downtown London was a busy place always, it didn't matter the weather or the time of year, the streets were filled with buggies, horses and sellers of wares.
Mister Kirkland had business south of town and decided to make it an outing, they, his two wards matthew Williams and Alfred Jones, walked as was Mister Kirkland's preferred method of getting about. He always felt it was the best for ones health.

If I could have just a few minutes of your time, I want to tell you a story.
This story starts in a typical American high school with a not-so-extraordinary boy and a not-so-ordinary girl. The boy got decent grades, was on the track team, had friends, but he always felt like he didn't fit in anywhere.
Then came along a not-so-ordinary girl, they met at a school dance and immediately hit it off. With the music in the background, they talked about their likes and dislikes, their futures, and how they were friends with the same people. Before they knew it, the dance was over but it was not without its benefits. The girl went home with stars in her eyes, and the boy went home with a smile that stretched from ear to ear.
Time passed, but it seemed like fate when they met again after school one day. The boy didn't know why, but suddenly he was walking home with this girl that he had just met. And without much effort, another conversation struck up b
